Jacob
grew up in our Boys Home, he now earns a living making wooden
holding crosses for patients in a Norwich hospital. So far
over 1000 have been distributed.

Some of our older girls have moved into employment now but
we still offer some maintenance and pastoral support until
they marry (and long afterwards!)
Lekshmy
has completed a course in textile design and is now employed
as a designer in a Kerala company.

Dhanya
and Soumya have completed computer courses at a post A level
standard and are now working for companies in the Trivandrum
area.

Success Stories
Pradeepkumar
grew up in our Boys Home and has become our first University
graduate!!

Three
of our boys have completed their apprenticeships as multi
cuisine chefs and are now employed throughout southern India.
Well done Pramod, Selveraj and Vivekandon. They retain their
strong links with us (see Report
31).
Several
of our boys are studying at A level equivalent standard, with
the option of vocational training or university.

We
provided sewing machines to ladies from the Lutheran church
our children attend in Trivandrum; this will enable them to
earn a living for themselves and their families. Norwich sponsors
also provided over 100 sewing machines when working in Tamil
Nadu.

Several
sponsors also helped to support a set of quins who also remained
with their family.

Home sponsorship - thanks to staff at County Hall,
Norwich and other sponsors we have been able to support the
education of 11 children, who have remained with their families.
